FREDIA GAYLE WYATT SKIDMORE, age 68 of Athens, Tenn., passed away Friday, April 13, 2018, at Starr Regional Medical Center in Athens, Tenn.

She was a native of Meigs County, Tenn., resident most of her life of McMinn County, Tenn., and a daughter of the late Fred Thomas and Kittye Holland Wyatt. 

She was retired from Farm Bureau of McMinn County and was an active member of Allen Memorial United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her Husband of 43 years, Rick Skidmore of Athens, Tenn.; Son and Daughter-in-law, Chris and Leslie Skidmore of Athens, Tenn.; Two Grandsons, Preston Skidmore and Spencer Skidmore; Sister, Brenda Walden of Decatur, Tenn., and Brother, Tommy Wyatt of Decatur, Tenn.; Two Half Sisters, Patsy Wyatt Ellis of Cleveland, Tenn. and Sandy Wyatt Cross of Cleveland, Tenn.; several nieces and nephews; Very Special Friends, James and Joyce Grubb.

Funeral services will be 7:00 P.M. Monday in Allen Memorial United Methodist Church with Rev. Charla Sherbakoff officiating, special music by The Joyfulettes.

Interment will be 10:30 A.M. Tuesday in Cedar Grove Cemetery.  Active pallbearers will Preston Skidmore, Spencer Skidmore, Tanner Collins, Lynn Collins, Jamie O'Daniel, Jeremy Hammond, and Earl Wright. Honorary pallbearers will be Willard Walden, Charles Byrd, and Ben Allen.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 Monday at the church.
